Life Knows No Bounds: One Who Loves You More by Andrea Clinton

• Alisa is a money grubbing gold digger who sashays through her days wearing this title like a tiara. Feeling life’s all about the expensive gifts and money a man can give her, Alisa follows the steps of her mentor and basks in the glory of using men, until she stumbles upon Omar.

• Omar is an African American Muslim trying to fight his demons and find his way back to the Islamic life he knew as a child. Distraught over disagreements that divided the Muslim community a decade prior, where many Muslims became victim to inner city chaos, Omar became a product of his environment and is at the head of that chaos.

Tired of hearing her mother rant and rave about her gold digging ways, Alisa decides to take her great grandmother’s advice, “Always get a man who loves you more than you love him.”   Stumbling upon Omar in his brand new Cadillac, Alisa decides to make him her man, or rather, her victim, or will the tables turn?   Hell erupts, splatters like geysers, while skeletons and bones fly out closets in, Life Knows No Bounds, “1 Who Luvs U More.”

Author T. Nicole and her Diary of The Secret Wife

T. Nicole currently resides in Philadelphia, and has done so since she graduated high school. T. Nicole is what some may call cultured because of her travels and residing in various areas of the country. T. Nicole e takes her past and present accounts of life and uses them as her motivator to move forward everyday. Many people claim to know T. Nicole, but few really do. Through her work as an author, avid reader and dedicated mother this Queen of Contemporary Drama has gained some added value through all of her experiences. Expanding her horizons, T. Nicole has taken playwriting under her wing and plans to debut her first play Summer 2011. Her motto is "Life is an Inspiration to Create". She writes when she is inspired and this allows for dynamic character and story development.

People always say that journaling is good for the soul...those people don't know Sheree. She knew what the deal was when she married Matt. She was supposed to be the silent wife, until he was at a place in his company where he could worry less about the opinions of senior partners. Matt was the kind of professional that had to keep a perfect image; an image that didn't included a black wife and a mixed breed baby. . When that silence made her invisible it became a problem. Her invisibility allowed Kelly to be the woman in the eye of Matt's friends, family, and colleagues. Trying to deal with Matt, Kelly and the fact that she can never be seen, was proving to be to much for Sheree. To add insult to injury, their innocent child is stuck in the middle. Just as Sheree is a secret, so is this child; in fact he is the biggest secret of all.

All the while, she continues to be the perfect wife and mother. The rage inside her builds until she can't take it anymore. There is a plan brewing and only her diary knows...

Dr. Pam Love Manning On Wine About Books

"I Want My Vagina Back" is such a timely book because it propels us to a level of comfort, awareness and much needed sobriety to authentically dialogue about our vaginas without fear of ignorance. The more we learn, respect and cherish our vaginas, the more we can teach others to value our vaginas as well." Sharon D. Jones-Eversley, DrPH, Relevant Solutions, CEO, Townson University, Assistant Professor

As of this moment, I still have not gotten through the book because every message and story seems to touch me in such a personal way, I have to stop and ponder on each story. The title set me aback but the message in the book has started a healing process for me. A healing I had not realized I needed. "I Want My Vagina Back" sets into motion the thoughts of how do I heal from men I have allowed to take it. Since I was never able to really discuss it with anyone and my girlfriends and closest friends did not know to do with theirs either, we were all running around talking about what we did with them, not the effects of what happened to it afterwards and the continual ripple of effects it is still having in us today.

"Supposedly, we are trained to clean our vagina, keep it smelling fresh, and shave or wax the area surrounding it. Others are taught to intoxicatingly open and close it to control people and manipulate circumstances. Sisters live their lives spiritually, emotionally and psychologically detached from their vaginas."

Join me on Thursday, March 9, 2011, 9:00 p.m. EST as we share time with the gifted and talented writer of this phenomenon, Dr. Pam Love Manning, author of "I Want My Vagina Back". "It's more than a book. It's a movement"

Author Christian Hollister oozes on Wine About Books

Considered by many to be one of the most talented and creative writers that most have met, Christian Hollister is a true up-and-coming poet and author who's work both captivates and gives passion to all those who have the pleasure of reading his poetry. With two books already under his belt, Christian has smoothly transitioned his unique poetry from the Erotic Poetry arena to the more complex and personal writings that he is demonstrating recently. As a former Erotic Poet, Christian is no stranger to commanding attention and holding his audience's imagination in the palm of his hands, as he has complied an impressive list of titles which has been featured in not only his own book "Syn: The Complete Erotic Poetry Collection Vol. I", but also in the ever popular "Eros Vol. II" (published by Chaklet Coffee Books). Christian recently made the move to more personal poetry after experiencing the birth of his daughter and the unfortunate circumstances that makes him unable to be within her life. Coupled with his struggle to find not only himself but also God, Christian's poetry has grown into an array of serious talk where he writes about everything from God, Love, Life & everything in between. However, Christian still remains true to his roots of Erotic Poetry, performing selected pieces for awaiting crowds when offered the opportunity. Christian can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/christianhollister and his books can be found on various sites such as www.amazon.comwww.barnesandnoble.com and www.chakletcoffeebooks.com. Christian Hollister's new book, "Something I Was Told About God, Love & Life is set to be released in the spring of 2011 and will feature poems from Christian's new style of writing.

Christian will be in the house on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 9:00 p.m. EST. Please join us with Author Christian Hollister on Wine About Books.

Beverly Black Johnson joins us on Wine About Books

Beverly Black Johnson conceived Gumbo for the Soul Publications in November 2003. She originally wanted to produce strictly inspirational anthologies but the concept lacked depth and originality. "I needed something that addressed the concerns of the community", commented Ms. Johnson. "I remembered how some of our church youth struggled to read, and the child held back a grade that used to come over after school with my kids to study at our kitchen table. When I looked into the literacy problems that plaqued our youth, I found an alarming 50% high school drop-out rate!" Beverly redirected her plans aiming the vision's focus on literacy. It didn't take long to realize Gumbo's first of a series of anthologies that would speak to the concerns of the community. Focusing on humanitarian issues like education, health and spiritual wellness, Gumbo for the Soul Publications is paving its own path having released three books with several more underway. Enlightening the community is one of Beverly's many passions shared through informative and interactive community
workshops.

If a reality T.V. show could be created with one book, this book would win hands down.  The Games People Play hosts characters that pull you in from page 1 and keep you wanting more with each page. But behind closed doors, it's another story as she struggles to maintain the status quo glory. With bitches on her left and ho's on her right, it's a constant fight trying to remain a glamorous trophy wife. Day 5, Belief, The Journey Continues, Garth Voisin

"To believe in ourselves is powerful. To doubt what we are capable of renders us powerless"

Day 5, Belief

Belief, in my opinion, is the first step in achieving any goal in life.  It gives your inspiration, it gives you hope, if  gives you strength, it gives you power. Belief is what it takes to move to the next level. Belief is the eyes of the vehicle that drives you to your goals.

Garth's The Journey Continues inspires us to use the many thoughts and inspirational tools to get us to that next level.

Get this motivational tool at http://www.wix.com/gavfitness/gav . And don't miss his debut on our Wine About Books segment, Wanda After Dark, TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 9:00 p.m. EST on Wanda After Dark Radio.
