Carla Pennington and The Available Wife

Carla S. Pennington was born and raised in Prichard, AL where she currently resides. At the age of 15, she became pregnant and refused to be a statistic. In 1995, she graduated number 5 in her class from Mattie T. Blount High School. She went on to further her education at SpringHill College where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism in 2002.

Carla decided not to pursue a career in Journalism. Her heart and mind had always been set on creative writing; things that she could make up. In 2005, she published her first novel, FLING, with a local publisher. She has future plans of re-releasing the novel. In 2008 and 2010, two of her erotic short stories appeared in Mocha Chocolate and Mocha Chocolate remix anthologies (www.shanibooks.com). In 2010, she also contributed an erotic short story to the Chocolat Historie D’Amour anthology (www.ladyellepublishing.com). In January 2011, her second novel, The Available Wife, was released through Life Changing Books (www.lifechangingbooks.net) and it is making a name for itself throughout the urban fiction world.
In 1996, Carla was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Over the years, the disease halted her, but she refuses to let it stop her. She is currently working on a number of other projects that she plans to have published in the near future. Contact info: carlapennington@hotmail.comwww.facebook.com/carlapennington
